"Always in the dream, it seemed as if there were a destination: a somethinghe could not grasp whatthat lay beyond the place where the thickness of snow brought the sled to a stop. He was left, upon awakening, with the feeling that he wanted, even somehow needed, to reach the something that waited in the distance. The feeling that it was good. That it was welcoming. That it was significant. But he did not know how to get there."

~Lois Lowry (writing as Jonas), The Giver

About Me

I consider myself lucky to have known since I was a kid that wordcraft is my calling. From early childhood writing poems about rainbows and butterflies, to my teenage years publishing angst-riddled monologues in the school newspaper, through dozens of pages of research papers in college, after many years of climbing the corporate publishing ladder, to this stage of my journey working as a freelancer on the content I love most, I have always known—words are the path to connection.

I am grateful every day for the opportunity to help others say what they want to say well, to be a part of crafting content that brings people together and leaves the world better than it was before.

When I’m not making books, I’m playing D&D with friends, keeping my boy child and my dog child out of trouble, belting made-up songs with my mom, writing poetry, reading tarot, or playing video games.
